Because of the small size of LED's the form and shape of LED lights is highly variable. Lighting tiles, small solar-powered bollards, solar tile lights, etc... Designers have large freedom and can use their creativity.
Solar LED's are used to illuminate everything on an airfiled like i.e. the runway, obstructions and helipads. This is remarkable, because these safety lights need to follow specifications.
